VIDEO — Me Hiding Out in My Car Before Coming Home From Work

Here’s a quick video blog post of me hiding out in my car before heading in to my crazy autism household on a Friday evening…

I explain why in the video…

ENJOY!

var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push([‘_setAccount’, ‘UA-25522671-1’]); _gaq.push([‘_trackPageview’]); (function() { var ga = document.createElement(‘script’); ga.type = ‘text/javascript’; ga.async = true; ga.src = (‘https:’ == document.location.protocol ? ‘https://ssl’ : ‘http://www’) + ‘.google-analytics.com/ga.js’; var s = document.getElementsByTagName(‘script’)[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })();

  If you’re gonna shop Amazon anyway, can I ask that you enter Amazon by using the search box above?  This way I can make a little money.  This blogging thing has been awesome & life changing for me… but I must admit that it’s taking up a lot more time than I ever thought… so if I can make a few bucks it’ll make it easier for me to justify….Love you all! Thanks!!

  • Does wifey get upset that you don't go straight home after she's been holding down the fort all week? I mean, I'm not judging, I do the same thing, I'll circle around my neighborhood to stall. You are just being honest about something so many of us do. I was just wondering.. I have a lot of help (nanny) but I feel guilt when do go home and head right to my bedroom to decompress. I hear my little guy in the living room and I feel like the worst mother not interacting with him every minute i can.

  • Omg. I do the same thing. I'll drive around an extra 30 minutes sometimes jamming out to dance music. I feel guilty that I'm not going straight to pick him up from school.... and i know Exxxactly what you're talking about with the pool he can't go into that he will want to go into the entire time you're there. The struggle is so real....
