New Autism Julia Content from Sesame Street!

Howdy folks!  As many of you know I work at Sesame Street, and was proud to play a small part in the launch of Sesame’s autism initiative back in 2015.

So I just wanted to write a quick blog post to point you towards Sesame Street’s new autism content!

This April Sesame Street is thrilled to expand our See Amazing in All Children initiative  with a new storybook about Julia’s family and the ways they support her every day.

We are also launching new routine cards / social stories  for everyday activities….

…including one on Getting a Haircut which I will be sure to show the king since this is still sometimes a struggle for him!  🙂

We also just “dropped” 4 new Julia videos to YouTube this week.  Here they are for your viewing pleasure.  🙂

1) Julia, Rosita, and Grover Play Freeze Dance

2) Different Ways to Say Hello with Julia and Rosita

3) Julia and Rosita Celebrate Families

4) Julia and Grover Search for Patterns

And maybe the most exciting news is that a new episode,“Shape Hunt”,  featuring Julia and friends will debut on HBO and PBS on Monday April 9th!

So please enjoy and share and help spread the word!

  • I'm going to show these to Baguette--she loves Julia! For Halloween, she went to school dressed as Julia.
